EMS’s I-WRAP® kits are designed to provide the customer with an engineered solution that is a low cost, long-term, flexible alternative to pipe clamp or pipe replacement.
• I-WRAP® is made from carbon fiber impregnated with high strength epoxy polymers.
• I-WRAP® can be used to repair structures, pipes, tanks and vessels.
• I-WRAP® can be applied to the interior or exterior of pipelines.
Exterior applications provide a rapid economic solution to pipeline problems, extending service life and reducing maintenance without removal from service. The basic
I-WRAP system is designed for use on lines of up to 150 psig and 200 degrees F. Testing of the I-WRAP® system has been consistently successful when it has been exposed repeatedly to pressures of 1100 psig.
The basic Standard Kit design uses two overlapping and parallel wraps.
The Spiral Wrap is used for elbows, tees, and any other pipeline sections where there may be obstructions. In longer run sections of pipe, the wrap also gives added tensional strength.
I-WRAP® kits are provided in the following:
• Standard Kit
• Acid Kit
• Hi-Temp Kit
